April Lockhart
April Lockhart, born in 1995 on July 4th July, started taking guitar and piano lessons from age seven. Her interest in songwriting was sparked. April Lockhart composed her debut song, Different at age of 12. When she was 14 April devoted a great deal of time in writing lyrics and practising her musical skills. Then she began to take journeys to write with her father in NY as well as LA. April was the month that she began to write about other issues in her book Take My Hand to help her pals who were struggling with disabilities, peer pressure or even suicidal thoughts. Lockhart collaborates with famous clean beauty brand Ilia as well as a lifestyle influencer with her own growing fan base. Her disability is a part of her personality, but it's not the entire story. Lockhart's Instagram profile doesn't reveal her disability, but does not concentrate solely on the condition. What message is it sending? We all have multiple aspects in our lives that make us unique and that we're far more than just our physical self. I don't want that to make me feel like I'm to become a disability advocate in the sense that I only talk about as there are many other aspects to me Lockhart says via video from her home in Nashville. My daily way of life. I run the same way as I always do and have developed my own ways to adapt. It's a huge component of my daily life, so it is important to talk about it. Lockhart is a great example to accept oneself in all aspects has been on a long process to attain it. Lockhart admits that she goes through phases when it comes to her body. She felt uncomfortable in certain clothing which exposed her arms. Now, though she dons what she's comfortable in and post images of her outfits to social media with pride. Self-love, according to her, is a kind of journey. "I do not think that you will ever be there," she said. It's a trip, but I'm not sure you'll ever reach your destination. The idea of having people that know you and see your heart is really important as they'll be the ones who remind you What are you worried about?
