Ashley Mae Sebera is better-known as Dana Brooke by World Wrestling Entertainment. Sebera attended Kent State University. She was a graduate of KSU with a Bachelor's Degree in fashion, design and merchandise and minors in business. Sebera played several sports until she chose to concentrate on gymnastics. Sebera quit gymnastics due to grave injuries she had sustained to her ankles, after a period of time of 18. Sebera began to train as a fitness and bodybuilder competitor. Sebera won championships in 2010-2011 in the National Physique Committee contests. In 2012, she earned an official card and began training with the International Federation of BodyBuilding & Fitness. Sebera started her professional career in WWE as Dana Brooke in 2013. Outside of professional wrestling, she continued to be active in bodybuilding, returning in 2017 for the Arnold's Classic, competing in the fitness world category.
