Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in the French city of Puy-de Domme on 8 August 1976. She was youngest of four children. From a very young age, both her dental doctors parents and teacher mother supported Audrey's love of theater and drama. The passion for theater was the one which trumped her original desire to become a the first primatologist. She rose to prominence as a child actor quickly and with huge achievement. After completing her education, she was selected to participate in Jeunes Premiers which is a French television talent-scouting program that was which was run by Canal+. There she received the award for best Young Actress in Beziers Festival of Young Actors. The result was that she decided to embark on a acting profession. Tautou was raised in the context of a Catholic home, and was a member of the religious services, despite having went to school within The Institut Catholique de Paris. Modeling and acting were intertwined. Her image was the mainstay for L'Oreal Mont Blanc Chanel, and is known as the Chanel Muse. She is a keen photographer and created a show in the Arles International Festival titled Superficial. The work she produces is focused on fame as well as fame. The exhibition also includes a series self-portraits and a special focus on journalists who have scrutinised Tautou since her meteoric success after Amelie. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and stardom with her major part in the film Le Fabuleux of Amelie Poulain. Amelie was recognized internationally because of its box-office success. The film was also recognized during awards ceremonies around the globe. The film is still the top-grossing French language film to date in the US. In the wake of this achievement, Tautou was featured in numerous film productions ranging that ranged from British dramas such as Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long dimanche of fiancailles. She then moved to Hollywood with Ron Howard's direction of the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code alongside Tom Hanks.
