Felicity Jones is a native of the UK and is most well-known as the actress who was Jane Hawking on the critically-acclaimed film The Theory of Everything. Jones, who has been acting since she was 12, has appeared in numerous TV shows and films. She began by appearing in The Treasure Seekers, a television film. Then she played Ethel Hallow in The Worst Witch, and the sequel Weirdsister college. In her first film Flashbacks of a Fool she was Young Ruth and went on to appear in a variety of films. Her acting made her famous through films like The Invisible Woman, and The Amazing Spider-Man. However it was her role as the wife of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything' which earned the actress the Oscar award for the first time. Jones was praised by both critics and audiences as she played Hawking's ex-wife for the Stephen Hawking biopic. Inferno was the second film she starred in, which starred Tom Hanks. Jones was named British Artist of Year 2016 by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles for her extraordinary talent and work in cinema.
