Emily Irene VanCamp has been an Canadian actress for many years. The actress is famous for her roles in television and films. Her popularity is shared by the world of Canadian and American TV. Emily first became interested when she watched her sister Katie working on a film. Once she discovered her passion in acting, Emily enrolled in classes for it and started to audition. After a few successful commercials she was quickly cast in the Canadian children's horror television series Are You scared to be in the Dark? In one scene, she was not even speaking a word. When she was 15years old, Emily had her big breakthrough after she was made an official character on the WB Television program Glory Days. Even though the show was cancelled after nine episodes Emily's performance attracted the attention of Dawson's Creek writer Greg Berlanti who cast her in his television show Everwood. Emily, who is also a photographer and ballerina was praised by Teen magazine as one of the most talented actresses under the age of 20. Maxim ranked her 51st in its Hot 100 of 2014.
